We hope you had an awesome new year's celebration and that you're getting 2010 off to a great start. We're gonna take a second to look back at 2009 and drop some hints about what to expect in 2010. Last year was actually a great year for us at CoffeeCup Software.
We made some major improvements to our older software and created new programs we're really proud of. Looking back on over 10,000,000 downloads last year, we're honored that so many people like our software. Here's a look at our most popular apps in 2009:
* The HTML Editor: By far our most popular tool, the HTML Editor is the app that started it all, and it's still leading the way. In 2009, we pumped it up with a new project management feature, a CSS menu designer, and lots of other cool updates. Look for more goodies in the HTML Editor later this year.
* Visual Site Designer: A close runner-up to the HTML Editor, VSD (as we call it) helps you put together a Website just by dragging and dropping elements into place. It's a great solution for anyone who doesn't want to mess around with code.
* Shopping Cart Creator & Shopping Cart Designer: When we released Shopping Cart Creator in December of 2008 we knew it would be popular, but wow! It exceeded our wildest expectations, with thousands and thousands of people using it to create online stores. When we added Shopping Cart Designer in 2009 it just fueled the fire, and even more people started setting up shop on the Web. We have big plans for this dynamic duo in 2010, so keep an eye on your inbox.
And like everyone else, we have a few resolutions for the coming year:
* CoffeeCup for the Mac: This has to be our most common request, and we're dedicated to making it happen this year.
* CoffeeCup Labs: Get your hands dirty with experimental apps, Web tools, and code snippets.
* Swag shop: Be the envy of all your friends with awesomely amazing CoffeeCup gear.
* And as always… We'll continue striving to bring you the best software possible and help you create kick-butt Websites. We'll also be bringing you a bunch of big surprises (including a quick–n–easy new way to set up your Website or online store)… we'll talk more about that later ;)
